I am up to date on my main novels and just looking at my reading list to see which one I should start to read but I'm like there is nothing to read and close it.

Yup, there are tons on my reading list, but I feel lazy to start reading new ones since they are mostly ongoing. I just keep up to date with a few.

The main function of my reading list is to keep track of where I stopped on novels that for some reason or other I have stopped reading which is a lot.

Yup, I do it on a daily basis. It is almost a hobby already.
There are days that I look at it three to four times, only to conclude that there is nothing to read there.

And there is almost 800 novels on my "I Want to Read" list

I don't know where I left off for 50%+ of the novels in my reading list.

Yeah, but mostly because I've read to the latest chapter and am too lazy to find new novels to read. :blobxd:

Same with the guy above. Im only using the reading list as a marker for where i stopped reading the novel or putting them in a list so its easy to find them than forgetting their titles.

The feeling when you got nothing to read and check your to-read list to start reading a new novel but don't want to start from beginning because of filler, world building , weak Mc and not much chapters pile up

Casually inserts reading list to prove I have a problem with that. Heck yesterday I didn't feel like doing anything and slept after dinner (around 6pm) didn't wake up till 6:30 am for college lol

Then why don't you mark the chapters you've read?

Since they follow the trend of good tension prime build-up, but fall late pretty bad, i rarely keeptab on them.
Those occasionally updated, i'll keep track on it. But if they're too long & story bland afterward... nah, screw it.

For me, I still have some series on my reading list that are unread but most of those series are not really series that I have much interest in. They are only there in case I ran out of things to do and hence might decide to give them a read. After all, series that I like and have a lot of interest in do not tend to have unread chapters in my reading list for long because I would quickly read those unread chapters once I know they are released.

This never happens to me. While I do maintain a reading list for a few books, I barely ever use it. Instead, I read one (completed) book at a time. Looking for more reading material only ever becomes an issue if I finish the book I'm reading or decide to put it on hiatus or drop it. I can't imagine what it's like to only read books by the chapter and as they get translated.
