YoI doesn't have the shounen ai or yaoi genre tag because that's not the main target audience of the series. just like Banana Fish right now not having it either. it doesn't have anything to do with being affirmative or not how Japan approaches BL in animation is very different from how China approaches it...

True, I thought my memory was correct, that they tagged it as sports anime, and there are other examples like Banana Fish, Tonkotsu Ramens etc.. that still have very strong BL hints. Mmmh dont know to me the way China and Japan approach BL seem to be quite similar, don't want to sound insulting, of course, but thats my impression even though China is even more strict about it with not even piggybacks or hints allowed apparently... It is somehow strange that it is exactly those countries that produce all those wonderful stories and smut ... why are there no European/American/Russian etc. BL anime like that? or did I miss something?!^^

te hehe confession time but lol I went into FOD knowing it was going to be bl of course it was because of the manhua and novel. Te hehehe I’m secretly making my sister watch it she doesn’t know it’s going to be bl yet but nooooooooooooo the why the anime going I’m little disappointed I wanted to see her reaction once’s she finds out ML and MC would end up with each other dame it one can only hope that they will at lest clarify the relationship between ML and MC in the anime right. Another confession would be I’m able to look at the donghua and novel as separate entities so even though they change aspect from the novel in the donghua i am still just as existed to see when a new chapter gets released and to see a new episode gets released haha go me ha ha ha still can’t help but get a upset when they take out the bl ness such a shame.
