Recommendations LitRPG with male and female MC, good romance, no harem.

Hi all!

Could you please recommend interesting LitRPG with levels and stats/skills, where are two main characters, female and male one, and there are not only adventures and experience farming, but very good and strong romance line. Relationships between characters should develop constantly: from hate to love, from indifference to all-enduring bounds, and so on. Good humor, and funny dialogs are welcome!

Some additional requirements:
* both MC should be humans (or elves or another human-looking race).
* I prefer strong fighting types females, not pure magician or support.
* no harem. Sure there can appear some challengers in terms of love and romance, but no harem.

This sounds like a fantasy. Is there actually a novel here of the sort?

Looks like a subset of my kind of novels, sadly I have not found one after years searching here!!!

 

We of the Harem-lover sect will also sit and wait...even if harems are the most superior of romantic fiction forms(caveat:when not written by a hack) good stories are still good stories. And what you've just described sounds like a delicious read.

It's been hinted that it will be harem as those creepy grandpa's of his are planning...

 

If there was actually such a novel out there, I would be busy reading it instead of pitching tent here.

The Strange Adventure of a Broke Mercenary
doesn't have RPG elements, but I really like the interactions between the MC and FL. Also, the girl can be on the offense(strength wise), but she's more on the support since she has a secret identity going on. I don't see much romance between the two as of yet, but there is a romance tag in its genre soooo X9

Can you explain the betrayal and death of loved ones tags in it ? They stop me from being interested in it, that and the nonsense fact that he is a op fighter with a healer class (read it in the manga/whatever)

 

Douluo Dalu and it's sequel novels perfectly meet your requirements. It's got one of the best team battles I've ever seen and also the best romance in a xianxia I've ever seen.

And check out After Transformation, Mine and Her Wild Fantasy too just for fun. No romance I think though. I just thought of this when you mentioned male and female MC...but after reading your post this is definitely not what you're looking for. lol

It has no proper female MC. And I don't like MMORPG novels, sorry.

LMS has a proper female MC. Just the romance starts a lot later on. But they do get together at one point.

 

so 2 mcs is somewhat rare in litrpg but if you don't mind published works then i have some

Then try Shield Hero (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari),only problem being, it ends in a sort of harem, even though rest of the story is not actually focused on harem.
Also Sevens has some pretty strong female MC's, but again, Harem

 

I am not against published books, it's completely opposite. Though first two books are about virtual reality, that's not my pick. But third book caught my interest, though in description female MC is not mentioned. Is there one?

Yep, both of them are classic harems...

 

so the book is 1 pov but a second female character joins the mc from the start and journey's and grow alongside him, she is a sword and shield warrior type. sadly litrpg is mostly power trip stuff so often single mc and no real romance.
