my other random thought today: after LWJ heard the Yiling Laozu's dizi, he probably went back home and composed a duet part for WangXian. LXC saw it and thought it was a part for his xiao (since that instrument was commonly paired with the guqin and I'm sure they played lots of duets together) so he was like "oh, brother, a new duet for us?" and when LWJ was all "...no" LXC realized his baby brother had really grown up :')

Isnt NHS, WWX, LWJ, JC is of the same age? NHS said this bfore. Maybe they are younger or older by the month but there wasnt any mistake for this tho. JXZ is older if im not mistaken.
