The Ling Xiao that has replaced Lin Xiao is actually the real ML. Lin Xiao was basically just a cannon fodder character that got killed off by the ML to take his place in the school.
Yep. Ling Xiao can change his appearance, so he (if I remember correctly) killed off the real Lin Xiao, absorbed his memories and replaced him.

Ling Xiao from his perspective, the chapter I'm reading says that Lin Xiao, after absorbing his memories and whatnot, was...pardon my language and understanding, was a sneaky little B**** , and too bad he tried to bother Ling Xiao which is why he was killed. Can't wait to get further in ! I love how XianMo is so smart too, but so innocent <(0.-)>
MoMo is only smart when he's away from Ling Xiao haha, As soon as they're together, he unfortunately loses a lot of IQ points

I remember it was said that the author made a lot of typos throughout the story I guess EXR will later change the pronouns back to she/her.
Yeah I heard that too as there have been others typos. It’s actually amazing the author kept so much together considering the plot and length of the novel. She did an amazing job really.

I like that the world building continues. Like sommeliers and spirit wine. Or the crystal tablets and screens! Back in the chapters of One Eyed Scar Face, it mentioned people recorded the (Ling Xiao's) fight. It makes me wonder if they can take "photos".

I did not even pay attention, this is why it’s so great to discuss novels with others. Thanks for pointing that out. Yep the realm has shown some advancements. Actually the One Eyed Scar Face chapters ended kinda funny in that poor Momo’s fight got totally overshadowed by LX’s fight, and it was Momo’s first major battle by himself too which he won. The author has only mentioned recordings and no photographic anything. Else their wanted posters would likely be everywhere!

They are in fact descendants of the main family and this is why Momo can open the dimension. It is likely that his entire earth family can open the dimension so his uncle You Zhen Tian can never find out that he is from earth and has family there. The current You family in the higher realm are all branch families and this is why they cannot open the dimension. Only the main family are the true inheritors of the dimension and can open it. So far in the novel it has stated that earth, as we know it has no cultivation. This is not true, there are cultivators on earth but it is a hidden society from others on earth who are not cultivators. Momo’s earth family are actually high level cultivators and because Momo was not born as a cultivator they hid the truth from him. I don’t know why Momo was born without cultivation, could be it just skipped him. His family did care for him, but because of their misguided decisions they ended up hurting Momo very much.
