He might even feel bad when he kills someone on Earth due to the fact that his mentality was constantly being refreshed back in Befrae
I believe that the author did try to imply that when he was in another world, his body freeze (stay ageless and immortal) and his mentality is the same (morally frozen) so when he came back, his body resume it's frozen time, he became mortal again, his body and ether resume growth and his mind (morally) also resume unfrozen. He became more humane and think more about what's ok and not to do. This is just my understanding and interpretation but it does explain why he became less of an heartless overlord and more of an annoying bastard.
well, if is like that, then maybe that experience was like a dream for him, his mind didn't really grew up, he has a fear to kill people, but he will have to do it in the future, when these bastards give him no choice and his companions/family could die cause of it or something like that
Who are those people beside the transported that he was handing over. Noone else needed to be killed.
HAH! This is Ji-Hyuk, the only reason that he would have trouble is if he gets distracted or is too lazy to do anything.
Or if his family could potentially be in trouble, like what just happened in the chapter. I just hope he doesn't forget his dad this time around.
Wait? He HAD a dad? Who's that? In what chapter did he appeared again? What evidence do you have that said he did EXIST?
I hope Ji-Hyuk take some time to smack Alpha around after his glorious display of power because that Alpha is being all smug and everything just to hide his fear. "I want that power" my ass. Teach him despair, Ji-Hyuk!! He should know that no one messes with the 99th Demon King.
Not to mention its corrosive property that would've killed Ji-hyuk long ago if not for his millenium's worth of mastery.
His arrogance is annoying. I suddenly want Ji-Hyuk to grant his wish just so he go insane and explode into pieces. That would be funny.
I got my wish, Ji-Hyuk really savagely smacked Alpha's shit around with a side of torture and life ending. I was already rejoicing but then suddenly...the fucker is still alive and is still being arrogant as fuck. -_- He seemed to have a power to back that up though. But then I would love to have some life-threatening scenarios for Ji-Hyuk so Alpha's declaration of wanting to kill our precious demon king is very very very welcome. After all, always winning and curbstombing can be boring after a while.
Ugh, Orochimaru entered the frey. Author nim. I already had closure with Naruto. Dont bring in Boruto to Returner, please. Stahp.
Well... Cloning in concept is just making copy of himself but they are still have individual mind. but Hive mind in concept is an entity that that share a single mind between a large amount of body. The example of cloning is one punch man's house of evolution scientist that may have similar opinion but when one get kill, other don't feel the pain or see what they see. They have the same goal so they can work together but still not really a single entity. Soooo maybe both?
Thanks for sharing but some people may be didn't watch the show (not really a thing in asian zone (at least in my country)) so some may not get it.
