    Okay, so it may be premature, but the same question has been asked over on the QI forum.

    Did QI kill The World Online? The translator seems to me MIA, which has me a bit worried. It's one of the few daily reads I've stuck with to QI.

    If anyone has any info, please share.

    Don't worry, the novel is fine. It's just the translator and 9 generations of his ancestors that have been extinguished.

    it has been updated just 3 days ago, but is this novel good? for me it seems to be the MMOVRPG rebirth of the legendary guardian with building stuff and bad plot from what i have read in the reviews and that the plot holes are the size of texas

    The battles and strategies are "good" romance is "so so" territory management "good" info dump "USA size extra large" enemy it's the normal, third gen rich bastards backed up by their patriarchs that can't deal with a "commoner" stepping on their zone trying to push mc down, failing and receiving shame in exchange for doing something ridiculous

    I like it. It's definitely more 'Empire Building' than anything, although it has aspects of cultivation, sci-fi, and even includes Atlantis. Lol.

    And the wars... Shit. The Europeans faught wars with only tens of thousands of soldiers, but the Chinese faught wars by the hundred thousand, which is just insane. Lol. But then again when you have a population in the millions... Yeah, it's like comparing tomatoes to oranges or something.

    Then again rice has a higher population-to-farmer ratio than wheat does. So less people are needed to farm in order to support larger populations.

    Okay, sorry for rambling. But yes, I enjoy The World Online, and look forward to the MC bashing the rich brats. Lol.
