Release that witch is crap translation compared to before. You seem to think quantity is better than quality. The other novels i listed are crap translations that is akin to MTL yet you seem to argue about it not being translated before. Sorry but if you are going to ignore the other arguments about QI and focus on quality(which is objectively good in your eyes no matter what) then I'm going to stop arguing to a brick wall. Continue to pander to QI though and ignore the monopoly and the dangers it represents since they don't care about the community. Bye

Actually QI can't take translations unless they pay for them. I don't think they actually take translation without paying from them aside from the ones from WW where they "claim" to have the rights to take it. But I don't think there been a case outside that where they took translation without paying author for it? Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here.

 

Wait, doesn’t munpia contract are different with Qidian contract? Qidian own the work that why they can force other TL to take down their translation, but Munpia doesn’t. Right?

Beside that, assuming munpia own the full right like QI, what are the deal between QI and Munpia? Do munpia transfer those right to QI?

Will refer to this post again when QI takes a KR novel from another TL group already translating it. Because they have done it in the past with CN novel then they will do it again with their Munpia KR partnership. I don't know what are you arguing to be honest? People to start paying for premium chapters? Because all I hear is you pointing out the obvious as if it needs to be said already. Nice to see how much you care for the TL community. All the TL groups should bow to your unparalleled intellect. Reading a fan TL without paying means you are acting entitled(Better stop reading anything not on QI then since you love QI so much). Indeed.

Munpia is mostly a hosting website. Most of their good novels are owned by the author. Novels actually published by Munpia are few and pretty bad, so don't worry too much

 

Won’t happen. At least not in the near future. How many funds have Qidian burn for QI? Paying the TL and editor, development cost, operational cost, legal cost, etc?

How many profit do they earn until now? Ads got blocked, chapter is pirated, people create multi account to abuse SS, low loyalty from user to QI, their business model is not working on global level.

Do you think other players have money to burn for something that may not work?

 

It's already happening. Zongheng is already preparing to launch their English site. They're aiming to get it up next month.

There's a clear demand for these things, which means that they can be monetised.

Complimentary sessions, free samples... If you get it, you get it. No point arguing in here.
