A lot of reviews here are written when the reviewers had only read about a few chapters. So I usually don’t read the reviews that often
me anyway why do you have to trust a specific reviewer? just read all the reviews, the most consistent detail are the most real reviews if the all talk the same thing on the novel, it must be true in some sense also i don't really trust the reviewers on nu because most of reviewers on nu have different taste than mine.
I don't pay much attention to who does the review (unless they have a history of bad reviews), but more to the content of the reviews. Even a reviewer that is historically good can make inaccurate statement simply because they don't like an aspect that other people would not care for. Of course that doesn't make their reviews bad either, just its not always a good way to judge. Yes, those reviews are annoying since a lot of them dominate the top likes due to their age. There really should be a filter to filter out all reviews under X chapters.
Those who read the raws not just 200 or so translated chapters, and gives examples of what they are talking about with spoilers, usually it's that that makes me decide to read something.
I go to a novel I love, I look for a review corresponding more or less to what I think of the novel, and after I click for the other commentaries of the reviewer. With luck, I discover another novel.
Screw Review!! you better go to discussion and take a glimpse of what good and shit from those who follow the series
Dunno, I'd never read more than 5 reviews for any given series, I have better things to do with my time...
