What is your release rate expectations ? So when it doesn't meet you will not read it or put that novel on hold.
    For me:
    1-100 at least one chapter/week
    100-300 two chapter/week
    300-500 5 chapter/week
    500-1000 daily chapter
    1000+ 2 chapter/day

I'll continue reading any novel KRN/JPN I like as long as there are releases. Frequency doesn't matter.

As for the 1000+ ch CNs, there are hardly any I'm interested/likely to be interested in. But if there is, I can just MTL ahead in case of slow (i.e., <2 ch/day) release.

I've gotten to the point where I don't care about release rates, I let stuff stack too long then it becomes licenced by qidian and stuck behind a spirit stone wall

What about those who release in parts? That inflates the release rate. That really pissed me off with Goblin Kingdom, it seems like you got 6 chapters in 2 months when it is just one chapter split into SIX FREEKING PARTS
I know readers love high release rate but it is not feasible for me. Translating just one novel is too huge a risk. Either it's not popular enough or gets licensed and all the stock chapters are useless.
I decided to go for the next best thing.
Release all chapters for the month on a single day : eg if the novel gets 6 chapters per month, I release all six on October 1.
I also intend to implement the Gravity Tales voting system. As a way to reward popular novels with bonus chapters

True that. Most readers don't like a ch broken up into parts. It is only suggested to do so when the chs are too freaking big and/or they have some natural dividing point from where u can cut it off without breaking the flow/ making it feel incomplete.
But that way your projects will get way less exposure on NU releases page than they would've had u been releasing in well-timed intervals. Moreover, it'll kill the anticipation of waiting for the next chapter, when u get to read it all in one go. That one month of waiting could also dampen reader enthusiasm. Why not release 1-2 ch/week to keep it on the boil? Just some suggestions.

    Me too.... SAD

For korean novel, i only read completed novel or translated by rainbowturtle, wuxiaworld or qidian

For jp, most novel is either dropped by author or licensed. I will read it if it has manga or anime adaptation

Me too, i put that goblin kingdom on hold

Hahaha, don't take too much project tho.

I agree with you until i read otaku31 explanation. Maybe you can put those translation in scheduled post

10 chapters per day everyday for a novel with 3000 total chapters and above.

That's cn for you. Remind me of scene in CCG where someone lock up the author to milk chapters.

I don't have much of an expectation of release pace, but I get sad if a novel has slower than monthly releases.

Weekly releases are my favorite in all honesty, since that means I won't spend too much time reading it... I tend to put things with faster release pace in the backburner because I can't get the motivation to read that much.

I want a decent release rate. Bulk releasing every 1-2 months is also fine.

1 chapter every several weeks is already a no go.

If it's at least 2 chapters a week and I like the novel I will keep up with it.
If it's less than 2 i'll hoard chapters/forget about it eventually.
I prefer 4+ chapters a week for full engrossment.
This of course, only applies to novels I like. For everything else I binge, burnout and then shelve indefinitely.

I don't expect any release for free fan translations.

For official releases though, at most 5 months for a 300-page volume.

I actually don't start most CN's before 100 chapters because alot of them start off slow as hell and you can burn through that pretty quick to form a good judgement on a novel review wise
