If you do, are we going to need to make new characters? Cuz breeders would benefit the most otherwise.

Might I recommend changing how the initial stats are allotted . Currently, the max here is 30, though it's near impossible to get, and min is... 18; that's a difference of 12 right there, though it depends on luck. Instead of relying on only luck, change it so that it's a range instead.

Ex. Say the assigned total initial stat is 24 (the average between the two); the player would then roll for their initial stats, but the range of it would be set w/ a min and max value, say 2 for min, and 6 for max.
How it'd look:
1. Player rolls: 2,6,5
2. Player gets 3, 4, 2, 5, 4
3. Total=18/24, thus the player can pick some rolls to be reassigned. (Could skip this step, and just allow the player to add the difference to whichever stat they too.)
4. Player picks the 2 and 3, and get: 6, 4
5. Total=23/24; since the difference is only 1, the player can choose to add the point to whichever roll, besides 6, they want.
6. Their rolled stat would then be something like this: 6,4,4,6,4.

Would mean that every player starts w/ an even footing, cuz their stats total would be the same.

Ps. That looks high, should probably lower that to around 21 or 22 maybe.

 

Not new characters, per se, since the reincarnation aspect will finally be a thing.
But some of the jobs are going to be revamped and improved.
The dice roll for number of stat points at the beginning isn't being changed, though - I think.

I see. Didn't try the tower, so don't know if it's going to be hard or not.

Btw, as I mentioned before, what will you guys do about the current job benefits; like I'm a breeder, and it's been.... 7-ish months since I last tried to claim the monsters. If we go by time, like it's suppose to be, I'd end up w/ around 800 slimes (orz should have swapped it for the boars, cuz their drops lead to 3 cooked food, and slimes don't drop foodstuff).
But other occupations don't have this benefit, as their resources don't stack, or stacks very little.

 

Ah, I did say some things will be changed, and the breeder job will be one that will be drastically changed.
The 'sit, not play the game, and wait' exploit won't be viable in the update.
And the other jobs will have some changes, too.

It will. It just takes good planning at this point.

Aye... We pretty much know what to do, but we haven't planned a good date to do the things we need to do.
