Nani how is that even possible they look completely different. Yeah I suppose that is what fan art is for but still. When I seen the donguha and manhua, I just thought he must be wearing black because he’s kind of like an out cast or because he wasn’t full accepted into Yunmeng Jiang sect I thought this even more when I looked back on mo Xuanyu and how he was kicked out of his sect he wore black when he first appeared. So yeah I really did think it because he’s wasn’t accepted which why he wore black outfits. Then I found out way in like chapter 60 somthing no it was actually When i was watching one of the Chinese songs on Mo Dao Zu Shi, that I finally found out he originally wore purple. This made me feel so happy because it made me realise he was more accepted into the Yunmeng Jiang Sect than the donghua lead on or maybe I just thought to much about it.

That's a bit strange I mean especially after their names come up when they are first introduced so mixing them up and confusing them is kinda not possible ...... I must say never in my years of watching anime (and you know how most characters in some Japanese anime look so alike) had I any trouble distinguishing between two characters at all even if they are wearing identical clothing and I swear I'm no genius either lol I assure you I'm pretty normal even if I haven't read the manga or anything it's still kinda no big feat

I was just thinking. How do Gusu Lan sect members "Night hunt" if they have to be in bed by 9? Like what time is night to them?
Yeah, i think the same too but as far as I know time in the past was ran slower than now, so maybe the Night Hunt started at 7 pm until 8.30 pm
But they automatically sleep at 9 in a creepy set clock manner like it's ingrained in them so how do they force themselves to stay awake till later I have been wondering that too i mean once a habit is made doing something otherwise leaves one in a bad state....... (like a sleep deprived mess that is) and they without fail wake up at 5 so you know less amount of sleep more wearied mess
They don't even sleep more than 5 o'clock in the morning to make up for the lost hours my God these lan peeps are brave I would seem like a drunk person (sleep deprived drunk mess) if I don't get my full atleast 8 hours sleep
Whenever I do my reports & theory write ups for university I have no choice but to sleep for 3-4 hrs or 2 when I'm really out of time. On those days I wonder how on earth I'm functioning, I'm in a dazed state throughout the whole day walking around like a robot. I'm not a coffee person, I'm a tea kinda gal, so I rely heavily on drinking hot chocolate and my stash of dark chocolate bars My Lan peeps I am with you
