I don't know if it was Japanese,chinese or Korean . The horror movie was about a couple who were haunted by a girl who makes people disappear(the MCs grandma being one of the missing persons taken away by the girl) (movie is based on an urban legend or something) . I couldn't watch the movie because of a guest and I forgot about it later.
It's not grudge. The girl is some 8to 10 year old who follows people or something. The last I remember watching of the movie is when mc looking for his grandma at her house along with security guard and then the TV starts making weird noises and the doors start shutting they try to run out but the entrance door shuts and they start hearing the sound of a girl laughing and giggling and running towards them from the floor above at the same time the door opens and they get out. Later the guard gets protagonist and his girlfriend to come see the security tapes where they see the grandma walking out strangely and in a clip from a camera on the outside they see her grandma being guided away by a girl to someplace.
Sounds like little girl in red or red little girl, Taiwanese "urban" legend considering it started with a video of a mountain tourist group and some little girl in red coat walking behind them, on a sunny day (high up in mountain so it's cold but it's Taiwan so it's hot). Good movie but a bit weak ending since there's no mythos behind it and they had to create a bit, the acting is really good considering it's Taiwan and there's usually not a lot of movie industry there for the quality the movie has. Taiwan has at most soap opera level of acting.
