KR - Everyone else is a returnee, main character hides his strength, seoul station's necromancer, praise the orc, arena, the tutorial is too hard
JP - overlord, Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou, kumo desu ga nani ka, the new gate, kuma kuma kuma bear, tensei shitara slime datta ken
The list goes on.
If you include physical novels, the list just gets longer with the likes of harry potter, artemis fowl, I am number four, eragon, the name of the wind, the way of kings, furies of calderon, the fire within, percy jackson...

Seven Killers is more a thriller than anything else. Its fairly nice if you want a short read and/or want something to feed your brain.
Dungeon Defense is a fairly interesting read. Pretty dark.
WMW, like CoS, is in a western setting (or to be precise: its a DnD rippoff). Dodges most CN flaws that way but it takes a few dozen chapters to really speed up.

City of Sin is more focused on warfare and is, like WMW, in a western setting. Fairly smart characters, female characters and enemies actually get character development and arent just a rock collection to be soon replaced by the next n+1/10 beauty.
EER reads more like an action movie (as all/most Toika novels). Imo its the worst on the list but still miles ahead of the usual trash.


CoS is, by far, the best out of these for various reasons. Unfortunately its not completed but its translated at a somewhat rapid pace (2 chaps a day).

Alternative "recommendations": ATG, AST, MGA and maybe SOTR. I call them alt because the only enjoyment you will get out of these is laughing about plot holes, retarded characters and bad writing. I consider the average smut novel to have superior quality.

Honorable mentions for Deathmage and RTW. They are pretty nice but just dont suit my taste well enough to make the top 5.

I guess.. but they do have most of the storys from cn, also, i pirate them, so yeah.

Also, my wife is a beautiful ceo, is good, worth a read, the relationship with mc and wife is infuriating though.

Everyone else is returnee: downhill in the middle and looks similar with author's other work.
The book eating magician: downhill after war arc.
Cooking with wild game: good drama. Now I am hungry.
I am tempted to include the novel's extra but it's too early to judge.
No popular CN novel because of filler, arrogant young master, and repetitive.
