It's more the other way around. When I see a character in an anime that is similar to someone I've seen, I'll think that the character resembles the person instead of the other way around. Could be that I just haven't seen anything glaringly similar enough yet though. I had a classmate that was like most of those and she also had long black hair, was in a ton of clubs and school organizations and was always busy. (As a straight girl I can't comment on whether or not she was hot, though I think she was pretty, and I don't know if she was famous in other schools.) I had the cliche of being the girl with her sleeves covering her hands (I was self-conscious because I have really skinny forearms and wrists and my aunts were always grabbing my arms and exclaiming loudly that I need more meat on my bones). Only my (anime-watching) friend thought it was cute. I didn't think so, and almost no one else mentioned it.

This is kinda funny because just now I was remembering about my club captain, who is a really pretty girl with long hair, have top-of-the-class grades, good at sports, and in the student council too. It also helps that she's calm, collected, and very friendly. It even gets to the point that the teachers nicknamed her "Yamato Nadeshiko of the third grade" because a quarter of the guys in the third grade said they want to date her.
When I was still on uni, I guess. I met your typical cliché prince like type from otome games. I'm from SE Asia, so seeing those blond hair - blue eyes foreigners are unusual. He was also an exchange student for the whole term, very popular to both genders, handsome (by our standards btw, dunno about Western standards of beauty) and smart. The whole package lel. I always see him surrounded by popular group all the time. Dang, I still envied on how blue his eyes were.
Weebs and I have genuinely saw a real bonafide airhead anime girl and she was my classmate when I was Grade 7 or 8 I think? Pretty funny actually as she didn't even notice that we were holding hands for about 10 minutes. She's also the first person who I held hands with for that long... EDIT: Goddamn so many mistakes...
In my class, we have: The Tsundere who is always angry at every little thing. The one who spoils the Tsundere by always compromised. The Class Head who often do all the work alone. The Smart Guy who had a feeling for the Class Head. The Pervert who loved inserting himself in the group of girls. The Porn Man who knew literally every porn sites. Then there is me, the insignificant Comedic Relieve. Damn, now that I thought about it, there seem to be many on-going JP stories in here.
