i thought i'd read a chp or two of Supreme Uprising, and it turns out to be to my liking
thing is, i almost passed on it due to the da.m.n synopsis that's on the NU and "hosting" site...

i mean W.TF? doesn't give ANYTHING (hints) at all about what the novel will be about! smh

does anyone know if it's a trend, or it doesn't translate too well (but makes sense in original)???

 

don't know about the original but almost every chinese novel synopsis is like that

 

That synopsis is actually one of the better ones. Most Cn novel synopsis are just some super vague thing. Since the most authors don't know where there going with the story

 

Add your own description of the novel. I did it with Returning From the Immortal World.

 

Nah it is just of those useless cn summaries that basically every cn novel have

 

CN 'pure' cultivation novels tend to be grandsounding and totally vague.

 

mhm, common ting. Half the reason I rarely pick up CNs, coz all I really have to go off to find out what the novel's like are the tags and perhaps reviews... Not the best way.

It’s also common for Chinese novel synopsis just to be plain wrong. See My Disciple Died Yet Again as an example.

 

some CN synopsis have not been vague, but maybe those were like you suggest, fan made ones
