Lin Ping Ping (ML's employee, MC's colleague, shou) and Hu Yun Fei (ML's friend, a company president, gong) MC and ML meet when MC is going to stop his contract with the "lolita" website because the xuan huan one has opened again. ML invites MC to a farewell dinner and then recruits MC to work in his company as storyboard writer for a new game. It's actually just a ploy for him to pursue MC. ML wants to pursue MC because MC is his childhood love who has been missing for years. MC's dad was a former high-ranked employee of ML's dad. Their families were friends and the children often played together. Then MC's dad resigned and built his own company, and the whole family moved to another city. Later, MC's dad became a gambler and had lots of debts. When he borrowed money from ML's dad for the second time, he's rejected. MC's dad and mom killed themselves and MC went to orphanage. ML's dad tried to find MC, but because of some problems and whatnot, he couldn't find MC. ML has finally found MC, but MC doesn't remember him because he has amnesia from an accident while he was in the orphanage. So, ML starts to pursue MC openly. Basically, all his employees know that MC is the president's wife ^^ MC doesn't realize that ML is pursuing him; he just thinks that ML is a very nice boss. They starts to live together early on because MC's apartment is flooded. Here's where ML's brother appears. ML and his brother (GX) have a good relationship, and GX helps his brother in pursuing MC. While helping ML, GX breaks his leg and meets with his gong. IMO, GX is the most fun and well-adjusted character here. He's a bit spoiled (big bro still gives him pocket money), often bullied by his big bro but always ready to help and knows what he wants, be it in love or sex (he's a kinky little devil). The third pairing is very-yaoi like. Their relationship borders on dub-con. Actually, they first meet in a bar, Lin Ping Ping (LPP) gets totally drunk, but Hu Yun Fei (HYF) still has sex with him. LPP is actually a virgin, he only acts like he's not. So he's shocked when he wakes up the next morning, and he's quite afraid of HYF. HYF is quite persistent, though, and pursues LPP relentlessly with the help of LPP's colleagues. IMO, their relationship is a lot like D/s. Btw, they all are out of the closet. ML's coming out story is actually quite funny. ML comes out to his dad in his twenties, I think. By that time, ML's dad is living in America with his second wife (first wife, ML's mom is dead). ML comes out, Dad, who tries to be a liberal dad, accepts him. Then, ML's brother who saw his brother coming out and accepted also comes out to Dad. Dad is totally shocked, he thinks both their sons come out at the same time because they're in an incestuous relationship!

Actually, there's a bit of dog blood drama (in addition to what I've written) about MC's identity, but it doesn't really affect MC and ML's relationship.
Modern settings don't do it for me currently, but I can appreciate a peaceful and sweet story (for the main protags). Sounds nice. I'll admit though, by the way it started, I was hoping for a twist like MC gets sent travelling through the brainless dogblood-filled novels he reluctantly wrote and fixing up the world or characters or something. That would be fun no matter how many times I see the same thing xD.

When MC goes to America to avoid the press (ML's rival company outed ML & MC, but, well, ML's already out of the closet, and nobody cares if MC is gay), he meets with a Chinese guy who says that he's MC friend when they're in the orphanage. MC doesn't remember him, but he believes him. Later on, this guy confesses to ML and ML's dad that he's the real Shen Xuan (MC's real name). Before the accident that made MC amnesiac, MC was going to get adopted. This guy was jealous, so when the accident happened, he pretended to be MC to get adopted. ML and his dad are suspicious, but this guy can remember the things that happened in the past when the two families were still close. ML is shocked that MC isn't his childhood love, but since he's already in love with MC, he decides to stay with MC. Because that guy is the real one, ML's dad promises to help him by giving him work in ML's company. ML is still suspicious, but he doesn't have any proof. Until Lu Zhang Fen knows about this matter. LZF seems fishy because MC looks quite similar to his student? friend's son? (not clear about this). This student has just lost his mom, and before his mom died, his mom actually wanted to see her first son, which had been taken away by her first husband. LZF suggest that maybe MC is this missing son. So, they do DNA test, and the result is they're not brother but can be cousin. MC and that "Shen Xuan" guy actually looks quite similar too, that's why "SX" could pretend to be MC. So, "SX" also gets his DNA checked, disguised as company's physical exam. It turns out that "SX" is that missing son/brother! So, MC's mom and SX's mom are sisters. MC is indeed the real Shen Xuan. It's that guy who pretends to be MC. I'm not clear how that guy knows about MC's family and their situation, and how they're connected (because at that time he's already taken away by his dad, who's also a gambler) but he kinda blames ML's family for his poor life. He pretends to be MC to get close to ML's family to destroy them. Btw, LZF has a twin brother. The twin is straight and already has a girlfriend. The mom quarreled with his twin, so his twin never comes home. LZF is trying to make his twin come home, but since his twin is stubborn, LZF looks for his twin's girlfriend to help persuading his twin.
I knew it!! I’m at the part where YQ was “borrowing” ML house computer and snooping at photo album. My spidey sense was tingling he is bad, but telling myself maybe I think more since this novel doesn’t have bad guys so far (except Mars, but he’s hilarious ). Will YQ getting his bad end? Or MC going to forgive and forget?

The most fun story is MC and ML's story because MC's model image is as an enchanting high mountain flower while he's actually a foodie and a bottomless pit. The movie director likes to think in poem-style, while the president is the loyal dog type. I found the last couple quite boring, so I didn't pay attention to them. Fang Le Jing and Shen Han are best friends, although they only know each other when Fang Le Jing has just started working in Yan Kai's company as an intern. I have to admit that I love the second CP more, because Shen Han is really, really cute (he's also a foodie, and his relationship with food is just hilarious) and he's the one who makes the first move on Yang Xi. Fang Le Jing is the strong and sensible type, and his relationship with Yang Kai is just sweet and smooth.
Can you clarify this because I cannot understand. If MC is Shen Xuan, then doesn't that means 'MC's mom and SX's mom' is the same person? Who's actually that guy that pretended to be MC? What's his relationship with MC aside from being in the same orphanage (if this is even true)? Why did he blame ML's family for being poor?
MC is the real Shen Xuan. The one I calls SX is actually YQ (it's Yan Qiu I think). MC's mom and YQ's mom are sisters, so MC and YQ are cousins. Like I've said before, I'm not clear why he blamed ML's family (because it's MTL, you know ), but he's really in the same orphanage as MC. His dad left his mom and took him away. Later on, I think his dad died and he's put in the orphanage.
