besides, it is much better that they were both sober and conscious when the confession happened. the drukenness, albeit generated many sweet moments, kind of cheapened their feelings and gave them both doubts about it all being just a drunken escapade with no further depth. Lan Zhan deserves a better confession than a drunken one fuelled by carnal desire.
