I think he got that porn book after he realised his feelings for Wei Wuxian. The meaning in the dream to me was he wished he released his feelings for Wei Wuxian sooner. Which is way he dream of that porn book before he meet Wei Wuxian, so he could make love to him. This to me symbols that Lan Wangji did ended fall for Wei Wuxian very early on! Yep agree, since it's canon that when Weiying tricked Lan Zhan to reading that porn book he was furious because he never touched any of those before. You know on my end, I always had that feeling why Lan Zhan dreamt about them making out in the Gusu Lan library because of what Weiying said to him when they were making love for the first time in ch 111, like I felt that what Weiying said then triggered Lan Zhan to have that dream afterwards. Lan Zhan dreamt about them doing it in the library, like how Weiying gave him those suggestive ideas. Ofcourse you really can't control what you dream since dreams are dreams. Nice observation. I read those spoilers but never thought on how Wei Wuxian suggestive behaviour could change the course of the dream. though I still strongly believe their was more meaning to the dream than what meets the eye.
in an interview,mxtx stated that lwj read longyang after realizing his feelings towards wwx. so my guess is that he looked into longyang(gay erotica art/book) before the dream(incense burner) happened which is why he knew what to do to wwx.
