Fluff ahah fluff LOL as far as I can tell theirs fluffy moments in both of them especially, in the second link I sent, were it says being uncle is anything but easy. Theirs so much fluff in that one especially in ch 4 and 5. I will admit some of chapter 2 was a little sad. Shijie But JC in ch 2 oh god he made me laugh a lot. The first one has fluff too. Arr I want to spoil but I won’t, so I shall say eat LXC. Anyway both of these stories have amazing story lines / plots.

I could be wrong but arrays are used by cultivators. Lan QiRen did not use a demonic technique, at least it’s not considered so by the cultivation world from my understanding.
I think so, too. Though it seemed that the use of blood, and especially, the re-use of the array drawn by Wei WuXian made the difference here. At least, this is my guess. I tried to find instances where general Cultivators use their own blood in cultivation, but didn't find any.
Not sure what else arrays are drawn with. An array to ward off the undead is not specific to WWX. NHS did ask for an elder, not necessarily LQR to repair the array, meaning they all know how to do so.
That's true, of course. I think these were known as forbidden techniques even before WWX. Though it seemed to me that Lan QiRen was against harvesting demonic energy in any form.
The Lan elders headed by LQR used an array to communicate with, at the time the unknown demonic arm, they failed though. I don’t think arrays are considered forbidden. The array MXY used is forbidden.

That's the point! The array used by MXY was drawn with blood. Also, it invoked evil(?) Spirit. The point is that if u don't use spiritual energy u can still use your own blood to summon demonic energy and get your job done.
