My iphone was fine until I decided to go mtl some raws and realized that some of the Chinese words turned into empty boxes. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t like that before. Help! Edit: the text show up fine when I copy and paste it into google translate though
lt happened to me before too... just refresh or restart your phone or just stay away from mtl for atleast one day maybe it was your brain cast an illusion on you so you dont damage it
Unless you jailbreak your phone, you won't be able to get a virus on an iPhone. It's probably some weird iOS related glitch. If it doesn't fix itself after you restart your phone, there's probably not much you can do about it. Good luck though, and always translate on PC
Exactly as intended! There are some possibilities, for example, they are using a web font and the server with the webfont is down. Your cache could have gotten corrupted or some rendering issue. Ha? You can get a virus even without jailbreaking. I mean jailbreaking in itself works same way as a virus. If it was impossible to get a virus, you wouldn't even able to jailbreak in the first place. That said, on mobile in general, it is pretty rare to get a virus so it is much less likely (but not impossible).
I’m using the phone 24/7, PC is slow Does it? I was trying to shorten the title so it doesn’t get cut off by space limit. What do you think is a better name?
I can tell you what the problem is, I can't tell you how to fix it though. When characters become boxes like that, the reader is unable to read the character so it substitutes it with a box. Like if you're trying to identify "cow" when you only know how to identify "cat" and "dog" If anything, I would check the region that your iPhone is currently set at. If it's US region, it might not have Chinese charsets loaded. So you'd need to add supplemental language packs. Or maybe you have a sh*tty MTL that only works on western languages so it can only transliterate latin characters. Try another one then.
The title made me think of some Chinese hiding in boxes because of whatever is happening. You shouldn't have omitted the word characters. "Chinese characters into boxes" makes a whole lot more sense.
YEAH... For a moment there I thought Ali express went crazy and started shipping Chinese using boxes....
In my country, there is Chinese-food-chain that is called China in Box, so reading this was way weirder than it should
Just want to say that the title is really strange. Ai-chan thought you were asking for advice on how to stuff Chinese dudes into Boxes for shipping overseas. Ai-chan wouldn't be surprised if some enterprising dudes have done it just because they can, since plane tickets can be unaffordable. Nevermind, a quick google search showed some people actually did it. Anyway, the reason you see those characters in a Boxes is because it can't access your Chinese charactersets. If you already have it downloaded and loaded up but you still see those, it's probably a glitch. Phone restarts can work, try it if you haven't already, or try to load the characterset again. I don't know how to do that on iphone though.
i was thinking if this is a chinese(food) in the box if not chinese(ceramics) in the box... not chinese(language character's symbol) into boxes...
