I'm looking for your opinions regarding the 3rd season. I've heard from some friends that it sucks, and since I kinda wanted to watch it I'm currently finding myself reluctant. Is it worthy watching it?

There is a scene of Kaneki with Touka where he is supposed to show delicate emotions... But there he looks like he just got so constipated that he forgot where he was... The manga is a dozen times better... I know this through Instagram...^^

too many flashbacks and it is like season 2 where stuff happens lot of action but not a lot of character development which in turn the forced flashbacks. so yeah like a season 2 with nitro.

can you spoil me the ending? I must judge if it is really as disappointing as you say.

There is no such thing as TG anime. That trash can hardly be called a parody of true TG. READ THE MANGA. As for ending, it was a happy ending. Some people complain, but from my personal point of view it was the best ending it could have received.

Tokyo ghoul had a lot of potential as a good action horror anime. Emphasis on "had". The only good thing that came out of this particular anime was the OST. Despite the animation quality being good, they should have taken a leaf out of Attack on titans, which is gritty, gruesome, bloody, and has fast paced action as well.

Why mentioning this trash? The issue in Re is not even at the level of skipping content. Characters are shoved right into your face - characters you don't even remember having seen - and then they fight and die. End. It's boring, animation is not that great, there is 0 emotional attachment and involvement.
That's my opinion on this season. If some people enjoy it, good for them.

If you don't compare with manga, it is good. If you haven't read the manga, watch the anime. Then read the manga.

Don't mistake Tokyo Ghoul story with that of shounen. Tokyo Ghoul is psychological manga after all.

Ken Kaneki does not become super strong... He starts ageing quick, gets almost completely killed by Furuta and turns into a Centipede Monster that destroys half of Tokyo... Later he survives, kills Furuta in a vague encounter and later there is just a chapter showing he is happy and has a kid with Touka

Much like the ghouls, we'll just eat it up anyway. Even though it may be hard to swallow at first. :blobastonished:

If you read the manga first, you will find that anime tokyo ghoul:re is kinda "preidicted", it fell the staff just copy paste the manga( the fight, art, plot). Unlike s1 s2 when the staff try to use imagination to "translate" manga to anime, altought S2 art is kinda sucks.
therefore you will find the fight scene is diferent from manga, altought the result is the same.
