SQQ having to tell LBH "Not as beautiful as you" only makes me think LBH is also one of those "women" who get upset if their boyfriend/husband forgets important anniversaries. If I could think of what LBH can possibly get mad about and expand on it, there would be fic where SQQ forgets an important anniversary (by LBH's standards) and he's trying to remember, but can't, and LBH is Grumpy about it. (It's probably something dumb, and related to the original goods, like Anniversary of the First Time Shizun Ordered Me to Polish His Shoes). But everything always ends in make-up sex.

Pfff Shizun actually sticked the beard back to his face out of fear of being recognized lol (I wonder how he did it?). Also since he used his blood to make the plant body does that mean that Luo can track him on his new plant body?

 

I wondered about that too! How does he stick facial hair back onto his face? Also he shaved with a sharp rock I can’t imagine that being a smooth process so doesn’t that mean when he reveals himself eventually that his face has stubble and cuts?

I don’t think so or at least I hope not! Shizun is too precious and perfect.... I’m starting to understand Luo’s obsession with him you can’t help but love his character with every update I’m just eager to read his thoughts

 

I checked the notes (the one we have in our translation group) and it broke down to:

someone's comment: I think he was kidnapped
someone's comment: No, when SQQ saw MQF later, he asked how his injury was

It seems that the character is commonly read as "cut" so the sentence might be ambiguous on purpose. After all, there are more common words for kidnap.

截 jié to cut off (a length); to stop; to intercept; section; chunk; length

I'm thinking of putting on the note on the next chapter about it.

The original was [LBH]把[MQF]给截了 so I'll just simplify it to "LBH 截了 MQF."
You wouldn't say "LBH 截了 MQF" when 截 is supposed to mean "cut," it just isn't used like that.
The 截 in "LBH 截了 MQF" is 拦截 meaning to intercept, be stopped, to cut them off (not physically cutting them). It's not precisely the same meaning as to kidnap since kidnapping is something evil/nefarious while 拦截 is not necessarily so, like you'd hear "the police 截了 [somebody]" aka "[somebody] got stopped by the police." But given the context, I can't really think of a better word than kidnap even though I don't think the people gossiping would refer to LBH as a kidnapper, since nobody thinks badly of him atm other than CQM sect.
