I thought "crippled" was too harsh when I read it too. ahh translating is hard. Nuances can change how things are seen and this really affects how LBH will be seen. "crippled" vs "kidnapped" vs "intercepted".

personally I think "seized" would work? it's not as wicked as crippled, kidnapped or hijacked, but there is still the sense that LBH is being extra.

 

I agree haha but the line appeared during a dialogue so it's understandably going for a certain tone, like if someone says "Yes, 'cause I can" doesn't mean "cause me to be able to," but "because I am able to."

Then again practically the whole novel is from SQQ's pov so even the narration is mostly in his tone of voice regardless of if there's dialogue going on

 

Not sure if anyone saw this yet, but from what I heard we might be expecting a Scum Villain donghua first quarter of next year.

I'm not sure, actually?? It's one of the first extras in the series, so I think it's in the printed version. I haven't bought the books yet, so I can't say for sure...

I think there are 4 more extras in printed version. I don't have the book, but I remember seeing a post with extras list.

《梦沉记》 《还童记》and printed exclusive 《成亲记》

the rated extra 《你们懂的》and 《春山恨，冰秋吟》 was removed from jjwxc
i think after the author removed the rated chapters they added 竹枝词 1 and 2 to fill up the slots. (available at jjwxc)
