Question Liu Yao: The Revitalization of Fuyao Sect is dropped?

Does someone know if Blob Translations dropped Liu Yao: The Revitalization of Fuyao Sect? Cause it's from June they don't update chapters, and they don't reply to my messages.
I love Priest novels, and not knowing if this novel will still be tranlated makes me really sad.

A month became 6 months sob.
I just hope they will say if it's dropped or not, so if it is someone can pick it up (even if I like their translations, would be a shame)

 

if this was not updated for 6 months and the group doesn't reply to my questions if it was dropped, can I ask for it to be picked up or should I wait?

 

Once I have already said that the translators of this novel were very good. On the one hand, I do not lose hope that they will return for an active translation of this story; on the other hand, I am incredibly thirsty to see him, and the last update, actually six months ago, makes me grow mushrooms in the corner.

I will try to mail them again to know, because I too love their translations and it would be a shame changing it. At the same time I too wanna know so bad what happens, cause we dunno anything for 6 months.... so, let’s hope thy reply to me when I contact them again! At least we can know if it’s dropped or not

Nope… one of the staff told me she doesn't know anything, and to ask another staff member that has yet to reply. I asked directly on discord server too, but didn't get any reply. Sigh
Guess I'm gonna spam all the staff members and hope in a reply, if I understand who are the other staff members on discord.

 

Yay they replied! they wrote me this:
"The translator for this series is actually on hiatus right now. So they still haven't had the time to work on Liu Yao. Hopefully they'll have more time during the upcoming holidays but we don't want them to feel stressed out"

So, it's not dropped and the translator should eventually start to work on it, hopefully soon.

Well, thank God, they did not forget and did not abandon the translation. This is very, very cool! Hopefully we will be able to see the new chapters soon. And to the translators, I mentally send a shine of love and support, let them be all right.

 

Isn't it just a nice way of saying that this is dropped? I mean, there is no schedule and no further details...

 

I don't think so, cause there is no reason for them to not tell me directly if it was dropped. Let's wait and see, if in another 6 months nothing happens, I can understand having doubts (since it would be 1 year of hatius, and that would be kinda strange without any official statement)
For what we know, the translator went on a trip? And I guess he/she has personal problems and can't translate atm. But that should be fixed soon (at least I hope).

And to be fair… I hope the translator won't drop it. I quite like the work so far.

 

To be honest, the idea of waiting for another six months depresses me. I became addicted to this novel, and not a day goes by without me remembering it. baka8roukanako is somehow right, so vague answer sounds many-valued. I want to believe that the answer means "soon the translator may return to work," and not "the translator dropped this work."

I've only read to chapter 10 and I'm honestly enjoying it very much but seeing the translation stop I've stop as well. If months pass without any update I'll forget what's going on so until I see it being continued with a proper update sequence then I'll restart reading it from the beginning. I don't wanna be left on a cliffthanger for months lol

 

I feel you so hard! I can't wait to know what happens, but I have to wait. I'm not gonna MTL it, would be a waste cause MTL is terrible and this novel deserves to be read with a good translation. So, let's wait and hope

 

It's so good the characters are so unique and different from each other I wanna see how their relationship progress in the future especially with the main couple. I wanna continue reading but at the same time I don't . Arg these are real life struggles here lol
