    There's a love interest of sorts. She's interested in him and he somewhat gets it but romance really is not one of the MC's priorities.

    Lu Li x Water Fairy ship is already sailing.
    Will get married in the far future, around chapter 1900+ in game. I don't know what happened before that because I only tried mtl-ing the latest chapter from the raws
