Hello @Ryogawa I really enjoy reading Tales of the Reincarnated Lord, i can't wait for LiberSpark to finish this one. When i read Black Iron Glory, im so excited that it would be a kingdom-building novel again (i am now totally into kingdom-building novel). With the same author i really had great expectation for this novel. I really wish there is more kingdom-building novel i can read hehe
In the I'm looking for thread you can find more kingdom building novels or you can just click on the tag link for more kingdom building novels though many are not satisfactory because of being wn's I guess.
Hi, thanks a lot for your support and readership. I can't promise you whether BIG's gonna have lots of kingdom building in it based on the initial chapters released now, but there is definitely a few different nations in the story and a different continent in the early stages of colonization. The author's really teasing our appetites for them grand battles.
It seems battles with nasri are often for MC's country so a war with those guys would be inevitable for us to read I guess. Also how the writing method is same it will be like torl I guess so we will have to wait a while to get somewhere
Yep the piece of crap making his sister wash his dirty clothing and that's all Claude needs to know before turning him crap paste.
Yeah, Egret lake in TRL. Xanthi was pursuing Reidy into the swamp around the lake before they ran into Auguslo. Is the author just re-using names or could it be something more? The continent's history is shrouded in mystery. No one knows anything (or is willing to talk) about the "magi" either. (It's probably just a coincidence but imagine if it turned out to be something more and the magi were really just guys who practiced a foreign "internal energy" art from the east.)
Our boi is a magic or someone with a questionable lineage of some sort I think that the store owners father might have been the same. Last but not least that trash of an elder brother should explode.
I know he had a contract with Qidian previously. Maybe he's still under contract, something like "you owe us X amount of work, either you fulfill that or pay a fine, until you do either you can't work elsewhere." Or he might have signed a non-compete agreement and can't work for anyone else. Or maybe Qidian just pays the most/gives the most exposure.
Chapter 130... seems a good story, good world building, good characters... but was expecting more for the author of TORL... The story seems much slower, and is about magic, not kingdoms nor kingdom building. Like ppl said, lacks climax. at chapter 130 TORL had happened much more than this story.
It's a new story with a fresh new format. Judging by the pacing, I can see that the author has planned ahead real far for this one. As for the climax, it really depends on how you frame it. There is drama concerning the politics of the town in the later chapters which involves the MC's father, and while the scale of it isn't as large as those conflicts one might see in TRL, the pacing is definitely not compromised. It's far more stable and has less, 'ups-and-downs' if you will.
So, what's the deal with text in italics? Last two chapters had some messed up formatting and html tags as text.
well since nobody here has the cn contract, we can only use the english contract as a reference. the english contract for originals has a priority clause for one year, but i think more than a year has past since he is deemed to be in "breach" because he should be allowed to continue as long as he has not breached? that said the cn contract seems to be different from the many things i heard from unreliable sources
Anyone else find the part about China being "bullied" really weird? It felt like something you'd hear from a party official.
Not sure about the type of person who'd say it in the first place, but it did indeed come across a tad odd.
Yeah well he's pretty proud but at the same time says they're bullied even though they're no better than the so called superpower and are using economy to take over Africa literally for resources. Yeah .
