Question Low-key Protagonists

    I've been reading lots of new webnovels with 100-200 ch and old ones with 100+ ch, but in every single one, doesn't matter if the character is a genius or a battle junkie, I cant find one that is very low key and passive as they increase their strength.

    Can anyone give a good webnovel that has a low key protagonist?
    Chinese or korean ones though. Not looking for light novels right now.

    I'm not sure what you mean, a lot of webnovels are japanese. death march and mushoku tensei are both webnovels

    Yeah I blanked for a bit. Light Novels are specifically Japanese but Webnovels aren't specifically korean/chinese. Sorry

    Partially, as well as me hearing webnovel be used for chinese novels in particular and I usually hear light novel for Japanese novels

    One that doesn't end up standing out, take most chinese webnovels, they almost always become the centre of attention, no matter what they do or where they are

    I have the opposite problem, every novel I find and read seems to have a low key mc always hiding his strength like some diseased turtle stuck in it's shell.

    I know what you mean, but they always end up showing all of their strength at one point and they end up with no more trump cards, so they then go back into seclusion from the word
