New iPad, what’s the best current free adblocker? Thanks!

I’ve got years of bookmarks in iTunes, so keeping Safari.

Ublock is a pretty good one and it blocks a lot of anti adblock scripts.

On my iPhone I use “Adblock” by FutureMind but it’s not only user unfriendly, it tends to turn itself off all the time. Still, it has the most reviews. Just downloaded Norton’s Adblocker. I can say Brave does work, so I just use it for sites that are unusable in Safari.

You can install Firefox focus and use it as a content blocker in Safari

How? I got integration working, does that block content?

Edit: oh yeah, that works great! Thanks, neon!

I am recommending this solution. Keeps popups to a min, and it’s low cpu cost.:aww:

Welcome to efficient browsing on iOS:blob_sunglasses:. I used to use Opera Mini but it's become trash. Also fun fact if you use Firefox on iOS12 you can turn off image loading from the options menu, saves you data! :blob_pompom:

I love Firefox. But I dislike the iPad incarnation, because of the features from PC that are not ported over.

My PC actually has three browsers...Chrome for certain extensions I like, Firefox with JavaScript turned off and IE, because windows don’t like it when you uninstall IE. :blobangery:

For the record I believe there is an extension that lets you install Chrome extensions in Firefox (wow, much meta:hmm:). Don't worry IE is soon going to be replaced with a Chrome clone :blobhighfive:

Nope, I am happy with a Safari and Firefox Focus on my iPad.

It works good, gives me what I want, which is cutting off most of the popups, but doesn’t significantly affect the sites I use most often.:aww:

For my PC, Firefox ALL THE WAY!!!:blobparty:
