So I’m trying to remember the name of this series. I don’t remember if it’s an anime or a real life movie. The only part I remember is where the bad guy wants people to step on a symbol in front of the main character. I think the symbol is the main character’s symbol and the bad guy wants people to step on it to show they’re not loyal to the main character. What series am I thinking of?
Also what series is it where the main character father tries to kill her off for being a disappointment due to not being able to use their family’s skills but then she survives because of a demon prince picks her up an appoints her as a captain in her army. I think she uses a scyth

So O P was right... There was a Novel(that might have been turned into an anime) ** no Riku- cant remember the first word- but its here in NU n the plot seems fitting Edit: Katahane no Riku was it
Sounds like Owari no Seraph. She's not the MC though. Not sure about the father trying to kill her but she's a scythe wielder who was isolated from her family because she's not talented like her sister. The organization she belongs to is called a Demon Army but they're more like super powered humans than actual demons.
