I watch anime to make up for the emotions that I naturally lack, such as joy, happiness, love, grief, sadness, excitement, etc.

I used to love watching Anime, but for some reason I just can't seem to enjoy watching it any longer. I have tried for quite a while now to watch a show, but Im always bored halfway through the first episode and just quit

Depends on the show. Nowadays I just see Slime Tensei once a weak and then that’s it. When dragon ball comes back, I’ll be watching that religiously. The new anime season looks good so as long as nothing comes up, I’ll be watching that

The TDG “anime” is the worst I’ve seen. It’s so ugly it’s an insult to call that anime lol

I used to watch like addicted. But now I'm bored of a lot of what's coming out. Occasionally, there'll be some anime like Mob Psycho 1000, One Punch Man, Attack on Titan, or Drifters to make me watch. The other titles tend to be over the top action anime with cute girls (boring), harem anime (yawn), and/or slice of life with varying degrees of craziness and comedy (already asleep). The day I see Vagabond, Shamo or 7 Seeds adapted to anime, my desire to watch will be reignited. Right now, only sequels of anime I already know seem to get me moderately excited. It must that I've watched too many and it's a natural loss of interest with age.

I'm not quite sure why I like anime. I used to watch them every day, sometimes I would watch them all day long... Like when I started One Piece, I watched like 400-500 episodes in 2-3 weeks I think. Nowadays, there's just not many anime that interest me. I would watch more, but it's hard to find something I like. Recently, I've just been going through some of those I already watched. In the past 2 or 3 years, it's been hard for me to find anything new that interested me.

I watch now every day animes, but only four episodes / day. Or one movie, since there was a time when I was watching too many animes. And I couldn't think of nothing else, just animes. And when I couldn't watch them, I felt sick and empty, I had headache and I didn't feel well. So I stopped animes for a long time. It was more than a year I didn't watch animes, didn't read mangas. Now I don't watch too many.

I like animes because they are so different from the american and european cartoons. There's some extra, and I just like the interesting stories and characters so much. And I like the japanese language too.

At my current age, it is mostly nostalgia. Digimon Tri is one of the two anime I watched, and I plan to watch the sequel. Other than that, I plan to watch Code geass.

Other than nostalgia, I'd watch it if the track is composed by Yuki Kajiura.

Hmm... i dont really know why. The reason probably varies by the genre/style/type of anime.

Probably the one common thing is the love of following stories. I've always been a huge book reader so anime/manga/LNs was like pouring jet fuel on a bonfire.

    Compared to mangas

I like anime, because you can better feel the emotions of the characters.

Hear the voices of the characters and become a fan.

The musics of the openings are good, sometimes.

Understand some complicated passages of the manga.

If you talk about movies or real life.

You can better feel the characters' techniques as in Hajime no ippo.

A true friendship between the characters or betrayal.

You can animate very beautiful characters and make them even more beautiful but you could not in a film because they are the actors are humans. For example, I am average, I could not become the most beautiful man on earth.

And many other things, like fantastic adventures with magic.

    Anime is a wonderful world.
Even if we have to stay in the reality

I just watch anime if it's the original (like Madoka)... I rarely touch anime otherwise...

Well, if the original manga/novel isn't translated, I go for anime out of necessity though~

Anime is just one way to enjoy a story. Since I can't read moon runes, sometimes when Manga are still being translated at a snail's pace, the anime is already translated-- so I resort to that as a way to cope while waiting for the translators to get more content out there :(.
