I’m looking for anything with an MC who’s an anomaly. He/She mysteriously does things that are impossible and go against the natural order. The closest example would be Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. Or the nature of self-insert/self-aware fanfic characters. The Spider (a self-insert Marvel Fanfic) had it where the MC couldn’t speak his true name. It would come out as &$@!? and he’d used that as the ultimate password. No being could hear/speak/understand/know his true name. Even the most powerful heard it as static. Side Character Transmigrations sorta fits. Before the reason was revealed, the MC had this air of being an anomaly and being able to going against the System somehow when she pulled out grenades out of nowhere and survived an event that should of killed her. Even when the System scanned her, it couldn’t find out the reason. I’m looking for this mysterious unknown anomaly OP feeling that comes from an MC going against gods but confirmed by gods to be absolutely normal. Not looking for some OP powerful being/god MC like normal power trip novels where the MC is a god, gets a cheat, is a son of heaven, secret offspring of gods, or has a normal hidden reason for being poweful. Just a normal person that can somehow fight gods.
Yeah, I’m still waiting for the next release. Loving it. It sorta fits, but definitely not to the degree I want. Touma and Imagine Breaker from Index sorta fits since his power is an anomaly kinda. However, I want the mystery factor, defying Absolute Law/Reality/Heaven factor, and lack of explanation to be ramped up. I’m not exactly looking for Chosen Ones type with hidden lineage or hidden power reasons or things like that. More like a they really shouldn’t be able to do that. Not your arrogant enemy being surprised by the MC’s prowess or cheat type. I want the mind melting character somehow comes to the real world and kills the author trippy level.

For a Prosperous World The protagonist is the only immortal person in the entire world, and her very existence is a puzzle for the being that oversees China/the world. And as she starts warping the proper flow of history, it ends up using supernatural powers to thwart her. Having said that, this isn't really that kind of novel and the two don't end up interacting very much. It's an excellent book all the same though.
