He mostly bows out by ending things courteously with all those present like "I'll be taking my leave now (some times with wife mei li)" or "must return to qinghe to attend to an important matter" so on something like that lol...... I'm practicing huaisang's grace and also some what eloquence (as he is the shady mcshader) here...... well lol I kinda do what I can the best I can to keep his character interesting tbh......
