Hmm.. If you're going to write a novel you should only focus on one? Too many could wear you out and you'll end up not finishing either novel?

Imo, you should start writing whatever comes to mind and when a good idea comes to mind, try to finish it while still trying things out in other stories.

Plan ahead and flesh out your world before hand i guess. Just so there wont be large plot holes, breaking your own rules, and you dont corner yourself

Don't go too chuuni with your character. We don't need another assasin who is also a dragon kind with dark past behind him.

In that case it should be in the form of one shots rather than a full length story

    Hmmm ...:hmm:
How about this one, "having plot holes is not that big a deal, the key is someone notices that is is there, or someone complaining to you about it. Once you know it exists it's a non-issue.
The things with web novels is that it is an unfolding story, to have holes in the story can later be explained. in fact having plot holes and the need to later explain it, is a great source of new plot lines."

While aestetic is nice, make sure the logic behind it is solid!
No matter how beautiful a mansion is, no one would want to live in it if the ground beneath was unstable

Avoid procrastination....which i ultimately failed to do so...meh...

Also, don't try to stay ambiguous since you may end up with a plot with more holes than a man who got shot with a buckshot.

1: Powers make the protagonist, flaws make them human.
2: If a gun is shown in chapter one someone needs to get shot in chapter 3.
3: If you have an idea, note it down immediately.
4: Paragons make bad protagonists unless you know what you are doing.
5: A logical setting helps with immersion. Plotholes break it.
6: Just because everyone else is completely retarded the stupid MC ain't smart.
7: Fantasy does not excuse impossibility (it merely changes the rules).

Harem is a way to create a war between your fans, but if you intend to have only one true love in the end, prepare for the assassination for the one whose ship had been sunk.
