Not really a fanfic. Some readers have started discussing how the story might have gone. There's a thread on reddit and another somewhere on NU.

AFAIK there's no dedicated writer who will continue the story.

That's the reason as far as I know. Could be something deeper, but it's not revealed yet.

 

I think in one of the chapters "black iron" is another name for guns, so it could be a reference to both.

e: it's not "black iron" but "black matchlock" and "black gun."

The number is inaccurate (it includes some other author update messages and doesn't account for misnumbered chapters). All released chapters have been fully translated.

Iirc, she left him a letter after paying the ransom, saying that she regretted leaving him and how she envy his wife (i forgot the name) seeing the happiness on her face or something like that.

Yea, iirc, there’s no mention of her after those events. We would have probably seen her again once Lorist established his own kingdom. Too bad, it got cancelled before we even get there. I was hype for Lorist’ army to roll over Auguslo’s.
