    hmm I think it's because there's no yaoi tag on NU, it would fall under Genre

    hmm also the novel has already a Shounen Ai genres, so I think that there's no more need to add a Yaoi one?

    I don't see why you can't add both. There are plenty of novels with both tags as genres.

    That's because they're not cleaned up. They're only supposed to be either, not both. Sometimes, there are dumb idiots who wants Yaoi on everything when there's already Shounen Ai in it. Unfortunately, my petition to have them merged didn't go through.

    It is a nice change but the fact that nu has reader defined tags with stricter control make it way better acc to me.....

    I cant see it being strict with every random novel having tragedy slapped on them.......
