https://www.novelupdates.com/series/silver-overlord/ I don't know why this novel got such poor ratings. Maybe just because of it being on Qidian. Anyway, I find the novel is a good read with the story arcs seeming to be thought out and well written. While the story is typical of the genre, it flows well and is interesting. The translations is good and updates are steady. The one really odd thing about this novel is that at the beginning, it was implied the MC was transmigrated into another world with an ancient Chinese setting where cultivation was real. However, at around mid-60s chapters when the MC goes to attend the Martial Academy, the author suddenly started to indicate that the MC was actually in ancient China. At least, that's my impression.
I'm interested in the world hopping tag. Is it the Quick Transmigration kind? Every arc is in different world/plot? Or is it the usual eastern fantasy cultivation kind?
No. It's just a regular transmigration: the MC gets killed in modern China and wakes up in a boy's body in ancient China (apparently) where cultivation is real. The quirk in this story is that the MC gets killed again (in ancient China). Spoiler There's a few years time skip while he's a wandering ghost until he mysteriously resurrects. Spoiler Later, the cheat happens and he returned to a few months before he got killed (in ancient China). The cheat is that he can go back and forth between the 2 time lines which are separated by a few years and different locations (+ other cheat features).
