As a Filipino. I'm quite fond of eating innards of every animal. I'm fond of eating chicken 'liver', chicken intestine and chicken balls/testes.
You know what is the function of intestines, right? Both small and large, right? Please tell me you know what is it. You learn biology, right?
If it's in front of me and I'm hungry then I really don't care Taste isn't really to my liking but if I'm hungry then I'm not complaining
I have tried liver but intestines perhaps I'll have something else instead lol...... This thread's title reminded me of the animated film's title "I want to eat your pancreas" lol my first reaction to it before I found out what the film was about was "what no! I have food with me.... You can have that...."
uh no. Feel gross if trying to eat it. But I wont puke if I saw it. Rarely saw it in my menu when im a child, so I didnt know the taste. Unless desperate, wont try.
Tried a few and its good if you wash if properly. And it tastes like poop if you dont. Just cook it like fried chicken. Flour, eggs and garlic powder. Then the dip is soy sauce with chili or vinegar with chili.
...... Poop->Plant->animal->Poop->Plant Nothing strange here......... Why do you still eating if you know this cycle ?
Clean it properly, then you can eat it. Remember, you're okay with eating block of rotten milk and drinking fermented milk, so why not step up your game? PS: Spoiler: PS heavily-spiced Balinese pork sausage "Urutan" tastes heavenly, you know.
Did you know that when you smell poop, poop particles already entered your body? Now, please dont be hostile here.
Eating them is very normal in Philippines. Due to poverty/financial issues most of us are not picky with foods.
Intestines are good But I like chicken feet and cow tongue more... oh and lungs... and heart.... and tripe..and..and..
