Have you ever won something?

I won a digimon sticker when I was 12 year old.

 

I won a Your Lie in April dvd from a magazine competition.

 

The only time I won a luck based contest it was a school related one.

My school newspaper got the 2nd prize on a national contest and the prize would have been given at an amusement park.

The newspaper club would go there, the winners of the poetry, narrative and drawing contest on the journal would go there.

The school had 3 more people they could bring and they made it a lottery.

I won one and Tymora made it so that one of the other 2 people was the cute daughter of my mother's best friend.

Beshaba decreed, however, that life should be hard and sad.

So, despite us and the other winning schools being the only one there in a free amusement park, no shoujo manga-like development happened.

 

Nope,.... just nope.

 

Ai-chan won Waiwai. That's all that matters. Now, if only Ai-chan can win the court case.

I won an english language competition at regional level ( non-english speaking country here ) and got surprised when a few months later my school got me a tablet, the principal saying nobody before me ever got so far in that school. I got a new one, so my little bro is using it now.

I accidentally won a reading contest during my time in high school. The public library was apparently not recording borrowed books just for inventory. Got 3 books as a present, exemption from library fees for a year, but there was also an interview so I started avoiding borrowing books from the library and just go there to read on site or hang out on the internet.

 

I once found an egg with 2 yolks, does it count as winning something?

 

As a kid I did some drawing and won an atlas; when I was about 17 I won some alcohol in a bingo which later we drank with the same table I played with.

Weird thread to be honest, I could continue remembering things I won, but nah
