Can you guys suggest a good novel? I want something that gives that Overlord feelings. Like Hail the king. It doesn't have to be a novel on here, I just hope it isn't too old. Something where Knights and other fantasy elements are heavily involved.

My brother told me to read Warhammer 40 k.... I decided not to even start to try to read that, but my brother often has interesting book suggestions (which are often in line with the tastes of many readers apart from me, lol)

One of my all time favorite fantasy book series is called the Codex Alera by Jim Butcher. 6 Books, amazing read, highly recommend. Not free however, but well worth a purchase.

Well. The closest match I could think of is Trash of the Counts Family and here is its Wuxiaworld page. It also share the comedic tones Overlord and Hail the King have.

If you don't mind traditional paper books or electronic books:

Another I could think of is the Dragon Knight series (its the tradition paper book) starting with Dragon and the George. It is kinda old though but I find it a very fun read.

The Prydain series by Lloyd Alexander is also good.

Demons of Astlan series, the first book of the series Into the Abyss is quite good, and the series has a comedic tone to it that matches Overlord and Hail the King's comedic tones.

Many video games have book tie-ins. Skylanders has a series of books. Mass Effect also has books. Super Mario Bros has comic books. Well, World of Warcraft has a series of comics. Not to mention those video game movies. Pokemon even has an anime (so does other japanese video game like Yokai Watch, Digimon, etc.). And look Castelvania has a Netflix animated series.

Really, it is very common to see video game whatever now days.

Who hasn't read Trash Count? Haha. I'll definitely check out Dragon and George. When you said old i thought you meant 80s old but this one looks good, i read the summary! Anywhere i can read it for free? Edit: I take that back, its from the late 70s! lol. The summary seemed so isekai-like and the reviews aren't that old that i misunderstood. It still looks good though...

Apparently it’s related to the game (Perhaps started as fan fic... my bro told me about it for like twenty min and I zoned out... shhh don’t tell him that) but he said that basically it’s like author A writes a couple books concerning character/s ABC from the game, then author B writes a few books about character/s DEF, them author C writes about another something related to that game...

I mean it sounded interesting, and there are a lot of completed books released already... but that’s what scares me... I already spend over 12h per day with my nose in my phone reading stuff...

I actually have physical copies of the books but you could get a ebook here: Dragon and the George though I think this is illegal. And yeah, the examples you give reminds me of this book so much.
