After watching episode 868, Katakuri has trumped every other villain and boss fight in the anime. Most hated villain is easy to decide (Akainu) but the series has so many villains with good back story and fleshed out characters it is hard to choose which one. Who is yours?
Hmm...well, obviously, towards the Marines, they are Luffy's enemies, but... What do we mean by villains? Because if we are to think about it...the main characters are pirates
Luffy and his nakama are main characters. Smoker is good example of villain. Very few characters are completely negative. Like Akainu or Blackbeard or Eneru.
The poster very clearly means antagonists. Which means any enemy of the strawhats. Akainu being the most hated is up for debate and depends on how you look at it. In my opinion, I love him, specifically because he was such a beast in marineford and all of a sudden we now have 2 major "big baddies" on both sides (akainu on marines and blackbeard on pirates) that we NEED to see Luffy defeat. Hes easy to hate on too and I get that, but even without a backstory I admire the heck out of Akainu as an antagonist since he serves as a great foil and embodies the absolute justice of the marines that we got a glimpse of throughout other parts of the series already. The marines as a whole would honestly be far less interesting and threatening without a character like Akainu.
If Boa Hancock isnt counted then either Smoker or Eneru I like how Luffy tries to outwit them even before the Haki awakening and both of them not underestimating Luffy even though their abilities trump over Luffy's.
Doflamingo. While his deeds are undoubtedly bad, I respect that he prioritizes his family the most and he treats them with respect. And even punished those who slighted his family like the ones who bullied Baby 5.
True. You know, that first pirate lady, the fat one, when she made her appearance again after getting the Demon fruit, I was disappointed that that was the way for her to turn pretty. It would have been cool for her to recover and change herself, then get bestowed the fruit almost like a reward, but writers just want a recurring character to join back in for the luls Some of the Marines are obviously the ones I respect the most as they are indeed 'good' guys in the normal sense. As for on the pirate side... I stopped reading once everyone got to the land of animal people. I have forgotten most of the old enemies in between the time skip and dressrosa
It’s been a while since I read/watched OP, so my memory might be a little rusty. I think my favs are Bon Clay and Aokiji...
I believe that best of one piece is yet to come . Haven't watch from episode they crash party. For me it is Z of one piece z film
Time to catch up then. The thing I hate and love about one piece is all person fights at same time which leads to prolonged fight but series of satisfying conclusion/defeats.
