Just like the title said, have you ever at one day when you playing a game, you feel that it will be great if some features from old series of a game franchise make comeback to new series of game franchise? For me it's cooking, green house ,and field style where i can arrange how my field look like as much as iwant from hm btn And calling and evolution check features from Pokémon black and white
Same here, old games have much better storyline and features Today games features mostly either dlc or just graphic improvement or addition like in previous release you can only go fishing in riverbank and in new version you can fish in the middle of the river
All I want is for the shitty companies to stop making their single player, offline games require internet
No i mean feature where i can call the professor to check how i can evolve the Pokémon in my party to their next evolution That feature is lost in 3ds Pokémon games, and i can't comment on switch games as i haven't play it yet ( Nintendo switch price is too much for me to just spend that amount to buy entertainment )
I really enjoy self sufficiency in games. It really is a shame that a lot of MMOs and single-player games don't give you the option of playing self sufficiently or have a very limited form of self sufficiency. It is the reason I no-life'd Oldschool Runescape when Ironman Mode came out for hundreds of hours. A lot of developers today are too afraid of adding monotonous grinding to their games, so much so that they end up letting you spend gold and skip over hundreds of hours of content (besides combat).
i'd like to see things like the rope arrow from the older Thief games come back. most of those sorts of games decide for you what areas you're allowed to climb and explore. sure, it still had an edge to the map, but being able to shoot an arrow into anything with wood did far more for me than all this parkour and wall hanging/climbing with their finger tips. the "openness" to combat in dark messiah of might and magic would be nice, as well. being able to actively create or make use of traps, hazards, and kicks to deal with enemies felt amazing. sure, the combat itself was fairly stale, but i had great hopes the style would grow and get better over time. sadly, it seems to have just been dropped entirely.
Hmm, I thought it was still in them. But I checked now and it isnt. welp. I'll blame it on me playing mostly only a lot of black/white/2. Edit: btw, I really miss the highly customizable Y button. Now we just have 4 options for it. And we used to be able to do pretty much anything with it.
I know right ? In fact, i've played Brigandine The Legend of Forsena on PSX Emulator just now, those old games truly deserves their reputation
If by "feature" you mean "an entire game series being brought back from the dead" I would want F-Zero.
Darklands for sure. Their saints and alchemy system was great. Too bad the game was sold unfinished and with bugs. They fixed the bugs, but they never finished the game. There were rumours that you were supposed to be able to take over robber baron castles too, but it was considered to be too much trouble and the developers scrapped the idea. Ai-chan would love to remake the game, maybe name it Germany 1400 or something. Alas, it will just be a dream. Making sprites is such a pain in the butthole.
