    What I mean is, if the author wants a lot of reader, where should the author post it?

    You could post the novel on scribblehub, royalroad, fanfiction.net, wattpad, etc...if the novel is an original work

    If the novel is translated, you could post the novel on NU!

    Lol, no one recommending Webnovel. Pretty sure you can just post a chinese xuanhuan/xianxia ripoff and you will get a lof of readers quickly. Maybe you can follow the trends there and just post modern cinderella story with 'President' or 'CEO' in the title because they currently are trying to siphon wattpad readers.

    I don’t have a problem with Webnovel but without knowing anything about their contracts it’s easier to recommend places like Amazon or no contract sites like RR, etc

    I recommend scribblehub because there aren't many novels there yet. So if you post it there you won't have as much competition. If you're willing to post it in multiple places then I recommend posting it EVERYWHERE. Put it up on the forum, scribblehub, royalroad, wattpad, webnovel. Just put it up and get readers which will hopefully lead to popularity which might lead to publication/money.
