Discussion Help a fellow old timer!

I think that I have reached that point where people start to think that, " I have finished seeing and knowing everything that interested me about a certain subject." And much like Dr. Faustus, I now feel that I want more.
Now to focus on what more important; I have been reading CN novels since before Ren's WW and been reading JP novels from around the same time as that, its pretty much the same for KR novels. I am a picky reader, so I only read what I am interested in. During these years I've read many interesting novels, as well as some pretty bad ones from all the three streams.
And now I face a situation where all the present and recent novels fail to interest me anymore. I am losing interest in reading these novels (Qidan played a big part in this) and even if I try to read them they all feel generic and full of silly flaws. NU is full with BL, Villainess and Clones of same type of novels these days (I guess this is a part of progress).
All I'm reading these days is, re-reading the old novels I enjoyed in the past, but that has their limits too.
So, here's the purpose of this post:
Any old timers, from same time as me still reading and enjoying any current NEW novels? Any suggestions? (I'm the type of guy who enjoys reading ATG type of novels. Harem is more than okey, decent romance, decent MC, well developed characters, good plot etc.)

From JP I can recommend Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance (Old stuff about battle harem school academy with the main female lead a tsundere)

From CN faction I recommend True Martial World and Mao Ni's novels (Look at my custom title why I don't recommend CN harem novel)

I don't read KR for now, so I can't recommend anything

 

Just stop reading, come back whenever you feel like it.

 

No more of that JP dense MC, please spare me the pain. And as for the CN I have already read the ones you mentioned.

If you're bored and have 10 extra dollars a month try getting a Kindle Unlimited subscription. Lots of free books to read. I usually read books from there when I get bored of JP, CN, and KR

House of horrors is good

Lord of the mysteries, mystical stuff

Doomsday wonderland, mystical stuff and post apocalypse. But bulldoze through the 100 chapters coz some people didnt like it.

Devil's Cage, only after youve finished everything else. Kinda mystical related. The dungeons are interesting enough.

Pps : this happened to me as well a while back. But horror and mystical stuff makes it interesting.

 

Yes, though there is another one listed as harem, The Outcast.

 

Read Silmarillion

 

Tolkien's best work, even though it was uncompleted and portions of it are still being published in other volumes. But considering Silmarilion is not a web novel, this is not a valid answer to the question posed

 

I think you should check out WW forums. Their top novels are something you have read and there probably are more people there which have the same taste as you with MGA and ATG.
Looking at your tastes ,here are my suggestions :
I recommend you to read "Tales of Herding Gods" and "History Strongest Senior Brother" . Both are fleshed out with well developed cast of characters and a romance (which doesn't make MC stupid btw) ,also the stories are great.

Also I am interested in what novels are your favourite and what you can recommend us to read. No JP crap please.

I had the same feeling for a long time, but I found a person on forums who had a similiar taste to me, when talking about certain novels, we would bump into each other quite often and we would come to similiar conclusions about those novels. Just when I thought I had enough, I used that persons reviews to find a couple more novels I missed. I'm glad I didn't just give up.
