    what the f with stealth? it is not invisibility right? from a game perspective when you are stealth and you attack it automatically reveal you. then why his stealth is like that?

    if he can do that, then its better than EER lol.
    now im dropping this shit.

    P.S. whats with korean author's fancy with necromancer class? this is just Emperor of solo play minus Youtube. but i like emperor of solo play tactics more than this shit.

    Man, I wish korean authors were as excited about necromancers as everyone seems to think they are. I love necromancer characters. Shame that there's only a handful on Novel Updates. Emperor of Solo Play. Seoul Station's Necromancer. .. and... uhh... Well, I'm sure there must be dozens of others because people keep complaining about the overabundance of them.

    Koreans are obsessed with 'solo play' , necromancer is one of the ways they make them be able to cover their bases. Then again, some novels just go the jack of all trades until they're godlike or make others do as they wish through food and gear, lol.

    I feel you on this. It was this that caused me drop the novel. Fifty chapters of Strength/Agility and Sense build only to have that completely jerked right out from under the reader. <Sigh>
    Well, that and the MC getting saved by a Daily Quest that he just happened not to have completed that day and been forced to take the penalty that just happens to trigger right before his death.

    The 'solo' part is identical whether you're reading korean, japanese or chinese. Whether it's an isekai harem leader or a face-slapping immortal cultivator, they're the 'main character' and everyone else is just icing. Rather, 'single protagonist with poor side characters' basically defines the majority of web novels, with exceptions for all three languages of origin. The 'play' part isn't unique to Koreans, either, with regular ol' mmos and vrmmos existing from all three, as well.

    Well, the novel in question has the uniquely korean dimensional-gate-theme thing going on. It's not about an mmo.

    But what I was saying is that necromancers are actually rare. I happen to know this because I love necromancers.

    And amazingly enough, solo leveling isnt a game. Solo leveling is ''real life'', aint real life aint exactly fair bro. Yeah, stealth is complete invisibility, but, it's not overpowered broken. It costs a fair bit of mana, and when you run out of mana, the stealth runs outs. And, the stealth isnt perfect, i'm pretty sure someone with good enough perception can still find you.

    such a strange reason to drop that novel.
    Stealth is basically "the ability to not be perceived by others" which you can broaden at your own liking when you write your own novel because: fuck the status quo, it's your world

    It wasn't jerked right out from under you. It's pretty clear that he plans to build as an all-rounder and fight at the forefront of his little shadow army. They're there to let him fight against numbers alone. He's still going to fight in melee. Rather, as @elengee put it, he's going to be "jack of all trades until he's godlike", which is par for the course.

    The former has 16 chapters translated and the latter is absolutely not a necromancer. If anything, he's a construction worker.

    Easily overlooked and in love with pile drivers.


    And the top review for that first is "yet another necro novel" ... I wanna slap that guy.

    Size doesn't matter, it might be small but the energy and tecnhique get the job done like any other

    You can keep normal stealth for hours or till you attack something.

    His stealth only last for few seconds while eating massive amount of mama.

    I keep up with death mage. It's pretty great. ... I haven't read the latter at all, though. I'll toss it on my backlog, but I prefer more of a classical necromancer or at least something akin to death mage than a cultivator who kindaish does necromancy on the side.
