DotA auto chess players here

Was just wondering if any rooks or bishops here since this game was more popular than DotA these days. Won some games in a row and I'm back to bishop 2-3

How is the game? I am not into Dota and haven't downloaded it but are there other game mods for it like the chess I have been hearing about? It free to play and download right (the chess)?

 

all are free, the game and the mods.. dota autochess is surprising easy to play but hard to win sometimes you need plenty of luck

All of my games result depends on luck.

 

It's a lot about luck. Getting a good start, widening the lead with a lot of gold. Building good compositions with your chess pieces. Etc

Combining the right items, giving them to the right units

Using the interest game

 

Luck is the most important and hard to master skill.

U need strategy to win but without luck ur strategy is mean nothing lulz

Wow, this is actually pretty interesting.

 

YEAH I tried the tactic of not spending anything until 50.. Didn't worked. I'd lose all the early games, and I'd lose in unit grab.

 

It will work if you just know how to create an early team composition. Get magi and an orc team either of the three or two mechs and 3 goblins. You'll win and lose some but at the time you reach 50 gold you start making your combinations and start winning. Comebacks give the most candies and also rank disparity.

Although if you can win consecutively it's better than stacking gold since win streaks give more gold in the long run. Get the numbers and quality early then you stack gold if you observed that you're winning with enough gap. That way you'll win easily till late game. You can still get candies if there's rank disparity.

The most candy I've ever gotten was 5 and it was due to just 1 loss only. The more you lose the lesser candy you get.

 

I always thought or had the feeling that they only distribute a certain amount of candies for each players everyday. Seems like that was a misconception

 

No. The comeback gives you more candies. Why do they tally the hits then? The more hits you got and got into the top 3 can play a role on how much candy you get. I got 3 candies on being 3rd and 5 candies on being 2nd and the 1st dude at that time was just pawn and he got 1 damn candy even tho he did not lose once.

 

Maybe you get either rank increase or candy as compensation if your rank doesn't get increased when you are top 3

 

I've yet to see think about it. I'll try and see if I win my next one. I'm queuing at the moment. I dunno if I'll win though.
