    I forget the names but "trap magic" and "I became a demon lord and my territory is an island" (or similar sounding names) the trap magic is basically what your looking for since people believe it's only good for making instant holes to trip people with while demon lord starts out with throwing sand he makes into enemy's eyes and other basic magics then when he gets stronger he still uses magic unconventionally, since I forgot the names you'll have to use what I said as clues or ask someone else, oh and trap magic/mage is completed enjoy

    Main character is not very strong so he chooses unconventional strategies in fighting demon kings generals. His companions are ridiculous so he has to work around them as much as with them. It's a very popular series. A knight that's a masochist who loves being hit but can't hit anything. A wizard who casts a nuke once a day then collapses from mana exhaustion and a goddess as a healer who's an idiot with an abysmal luck score. Only one wifey at the end. I'd recommend it.

    Hmmmm not really. Its a similar idea, but not really what I'm looking for. The Word magic he uses is ALREADY pretty OP, rather I'm looking for something that is normally not see as very strong, but the MC's creative and out of the box thinking makes it shine.
