gotta say Luo Feng(Swallowed Star) is one of the best mc i know...loyal, strong, not dumb, want to become stronger...
I actually think thats IET worst novel and Lord Xue Ying is his best. Xue Ying is probably IETs most heroic mc though. I see somebody said Skyfire Avenue I dropped it a long time ago the beginning was boring and no action.
Swallowed Star is his worst as i see it. The beginning... 5 volumes if i recall were amazing. I loved them. Then we got into space and it went to shit. Lord Xue Ying was really really good. i'm not sure if it is definitively his best but it is at the very least tied for it. Skyfire Avenue has fantastic action. You are like i was initially. I dropped it because of the slow and strange start, i came back to it a couple months later and... oh boy. I forced my self to get past the first little bit and then the novel blew me away. It is tied for 1st place on this site for me. Overlord is the other. To the OP: Tempest of Stellar War
Stellar Transformations was the worst. The only good part of it was before the MC reached the Jindan realm and it never recovered. His best for me is Seeking the Flying Sword Path, having least problems. But it isn't what you are looking for because it is xianxia built on the chinese mythos heavily and not just in passing like Desolate Era was( so far at least).
I like Swallowed Star very much =p the beginning was the best but later was still pretty good to read. took a look at Lord Xue Ying Description but it stopped the translation for such a long time...i prefer reading on going translations =/

Just because something is not listed as ongoing on NU doesn't universally mean it is so. Try googling it and look up aggregator sites if you are still lost. This is still okay, right? I didn't give any names and it was just vaguely offered as a secondary option.
ohh~? i always thought it updated new chapters at NU too. i remember at the start it would... gonna save it to read later. almost cathing up with my current novel =D
