Why do people even want to read anything published by QI is beyond me. 99% of what they publish are complete and utter garbage.

 

old translation that were moved to qidian pretty much half way through, examples of this are king avatar, ultimate evolution, omniscitent reader viewpoint, etc. these novels have good translators but due to qidian holding copyright they have to be there or abandon the project that they spent over a year on

It's gone. Good thing the time I left it was pretty early (~ 1 month) so I never knew it was gone until a week ago or so.

Thank God for good non-Qidian novels bringing me away from thinking about Qidian novels. It'll be missed, but I won't be surprised if there's already a new site for QI stuff. One does not simply cut off the head of a hydra.

Because not everyone has the same taste in novels as you do~

 

I stopped reading all the novels that is under QI now. The worst thing about QI is that they go and get global copyright of other chinese publishers' novels, like 17K or qq and they don't stop there, they outright force translators to work on those and start working on something that is published by Qidian China. that is what piss me off.

I wonder what kind of "taste" someone needs to have to enjoy something like that but hey, freedom of choice for all.

 

You are underestimating their reach
They do not need global copyright when they own it in the first place
qq is owned by them since it is a Tencent company just like Qidian is.
Anyone who thinks they can do without consuming Qidian content is kidding themselves
It is a futile effort
Tencent is too big and have their hands on almost everything.
Unless you want to stop playing League of Legends and other games because you hate evil Qidian

 

I don't play LoL though and i don't think i play any of the games from tencent...
