So even though I don't watch much anime anymore after binging 60+ eps of One Piece which I haven't kept frequent track of I decided to look up the Upcoming and TBA anime on livecharts. What surprised me to see was that Cooking Master Boy was getting a new anime! Imagine my surprise that the voice actor for Luffy, Mayumi Tanaka's old character role in another classic series was being re-brought to life. I've watched through CMB a few times and made it very far in but always stopped cause I hate when series change their voice cast and I'm pretty sure that's what happened to CMB's MC. Do you think the VA for Luffy will reprise her role? I've heard Luffy's voice in other anime throughout the years albeit rarer than any of the other StrawHat crews VA's. Even though I probably wont be watching it I'd at least think about it if she (Luffy's VA) decided to re-sign on as the VA of the CMB anime.
A new series that hasn't been aired (TBA) To be announced, referring to when it will be broadcast. The original series aired in 1997 and ended 99. The new one is a possible remake or sequel idk.
When I first watched CMB, I started on Japanese dubs, but I didn't realize that that was only for the first 6 episodes before it went Hokkien/Cantonese dubs with Eng subs. Mao can never sound the same to me! But this is great news! The original ended on a cliffhanger. "We will continue our journey!.... never"
?! YAY I always wanted to know what the hell the end was, or at least what direction it goes... ...I'm a bit worried about how long it's gonna be though.
I mean it was the same with HxH right? Anime leaves you hanging and then get remade years later. If we go by that example than you might be in for a long one. That being said the original was already quite long
WTF they're going to continue/remake CMB? I watched it when I was younger!! Before yakitate japan and before shougeki this was the actual shit that I like on par with the Iron Chef Japanese (English Sub)
The longer the better even more so if the original VA was back. Also with the updated Graphics more than 20 yrs late this will be the shit. Way better than that dump ass show everyone loves so much I forget its name but everyone looks to be having food orgasms every time they eat.
Well Idk for each their own. I actually wanna look at how they plan on doing the meat and cutlery I don't care much about the physical art style of the characters as long as they ain't dead ass ugly
